Title of the planet: Neptune
Describe how Neptune got its name: Neptune got its name from the Roman. The Romans named 5 planets closest to the sun after the important gods.

Who discovered your planet? When? How? Where? Johann Galle discovered Neptune on September 1846.
Distances: Order from the sun: 8th Distance from the sun: 4,945,000,000 kmDistance from Earth: 4.3 to 4.7 billion km
Planet measurements: Mass: 102.43Volume: 6,254
Orbit and Rotation:Number of days to orbit around the sun: Periheilion(how close does it get to the sun?) 4,444.45kmEquatorial Circumference:1in.

Mean Density:1.638kg/m^3
Gravity:11.13m/5^2or1.14g.
Aphelion(how far does it get from the sun?):4,533,946,490km
Length of one day (number of hours in one day)?16 hours.
Planet Appearance: Write 3-4 sentences to describe what Neptune looks like:Neptune has features that the other planets don't have. Neptune is said to be a brilliant blue. The reason why the sun's appears as blue and not yellow is because of the methane gas in the planet.
Rings: Provide information about the rings, number, composition, color, ect.Neptune does have rings but they are to faint to see. The rings are made up of small rocks and dust. Neptune has about 5 rings. Neptune is made up of hydrogen, helium, and methane. The methane in Neptune's upper atmosphere absorbs the red light from the sun but reflects the blue light from the sun back into space.
Satellites (moons):List all satellites.Provide a brief description and data when a moon has significant information. Attach another piece of paper if necessary.N/A.
Composition-describe the core and surface composition:Core composition:Rocky with many pieces of ice,and topped with a deep layer of liquid hydrogen.
Surface Composition: The upper level of Neptune isn't rocky or icy at all it is a big ocean.
Atmosphere:List the major and minor gasesNEPTUNE2.jpegMajor Gases:N/AMinor Gases:Hydrogen,Helium,and Methane.
Surface Condition: Wind Speeds:1000 to 2000 mph.Temperature Ranges:-353 degrees fahrenheitSurface Pressure:0.1Bars.
Weather: describe what kind of weather occurs on your planet: Neptune has the wildest and strongest weather in the entire solar system. It has huge storms with high winds. Also, bright cirrus-like clouds which change rapidly.
Water: what forms of water are found on your planet or on any of the moons? There are 13 moons on Neptune.
Exploration: list all human explorations( from satellite probes) to your planet. Include satellite name and data: N/A
Habitability: describe what would happen to a human if they traveled to your planet: You would suffocate and die on Neptune.
Future human travel:What are some problems and solutions to sending humans to your planet: The main problem is non-availability of oxygen.
Terraforming:what modifications would be needed for humans to live on this planet: It would not be possible to modify Neptune. It is also too far from the sun to support life, way to dark and cold.
Cool Facts:How much would you weigh on your planet?Trinity would weigh 112.5 pounds. Mikayla would weigh 110.2 pounds.your weight on other worlds

List 3 neat or interesting facts about your planet:1. Neptune is the 4th largest planet in the solar system.
2. The blue color of the planet is due to the absorbtion of red light by methane in the atmosphere.ask astronomer for kids!

3. One Neptune year is equal to 164.83 earth years.
